The ideal candidate will have expertise in BMC Helix Discovery and a background in the Utilities domain is a plus. This role involves developing and maintaining infrastructure solutions that align with our company's goals and objectives. Understanding of how BMC Discovery discovers datacentre inventory, configuration, and relationships, as well as how to map applications to IT infrastructure. Proficient in diagnosing issues, resolving errors, and maintaining the Discovery environment per our BHE standards. Understand the importance of the data, specifically application mapping, in service management. Problem solving skills Effective communication skills Required Skills: 1. BMC Helix Discovery 2. Application Modeling 3. TPL Query Development Responsibilities: Understanding of how BMC Discovery discovers datacenter inventory, configuration, and relationships, as well as how to map applications to IT infrastructure. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable and secure infrastructure solutions. Monitor infrastructure performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in infrastructure development and maintenance. Conduct regular audits and assessments of infrastructure systems to identify and address potential vulnerabilities. Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure processes, procedures, and configurations. Train and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
