You will lead and mentor a team of QA professionals, develop and implement effective QA processes, and collaborate closely with project stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include reviewing system specifications, identifying and documenting defects, creating comprehensive testing plans, and running manual tests. Key Responsibilities: Leadership and Mentorship: Lead and mentor a team of QA professionals, providing guidance and support in their career development. Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that encourages innovation and teamwork. QA Process Development: Develop and implement robust QA processes, standards, and methodologies to ensure high-quality software delivery. Continuously evaluate and improve QA practices to optimize efficiency and effectiveness. Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with project stakeholders, including product managers, developers, and designers, to define testing objectives and deliverables. Effectively communicate testing progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders. Test Planning and Execution: Create detailed testing plans, including test schedules, resource allocation, and expected outcomes. Ensure that all tests are up-to-date and aligned with project requirements. Execute manual tests to identify defects and verify software functionality. Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate defect tracking tools. Work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution of defects. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Strong understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall). Experience with various testing types, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing. Proficiency in using testing tools and defect tracking systems. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Skills: Experience with automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber).
