Business Rule Authoring: Expertise in authoring and managing business rules using IBM ODM. Event Processing: Strong understanding of event-driven processing and complex event handling in IBM ODM. Integration Skills: Ability to integrate IBM ODM with various systems, applications, and data sources. Analytical Thinking: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze the impact of business rule changes. Roles and Responsibilities Rule Development: Design, develop, and maintain business rules using IBM ODM. Decision Automation: Implement and manage automated decision-making processes to improve business efficiency and consistency. Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into decision services. Testing and Simulation: Conduct testing and simulation of business rules to ensure accuracy and effectiveness before deployment. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of business rules, decision logic, and change management processes. Support and Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for deployed business rules and decision services, including troubleshooting and optimization. Training and Mentorship: Mentor junior team members and provide training on IBM ODM best practices and methodologies. Required Skills: Extensive experience with IBM Operational Decision Manager (ODM). Strong proficiency in business rule authoring and management. Familiarity with event-driven processing and complex event handling. Experience with system integration and API usage. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Skills: Airlines industry experience. Experience with cloud-based deployment of IBM ODM. Knowledge of predictive analytics and machine learning integration. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. Previous experience in a similar role within relevant industries (e.g., finance, insurance, healthcare). Education and Certifications Required Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Preferred Education: Masters degree in a relevant field. Certifications: IBM Certified Application Developer - Operational Decision Manager. Any additional certifications in business rule management or related technologies are a plus.
