Excellent Communication Skills!! We are seeking an experienced Report Writer (Developer) with a strong background in BIRT (Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and maintaining reports using BIRT, along with proficiency in SQL, JavaScript, and Crystal Reports. This role is crucial to our reporting engine operations in Australia, requiring a keen eye for detail and the ability to deliver accurate and insightful reports. Qualifications : Experience: Minimum of [7-10] years of experience in report development using BIRT, SQL, and JavaScript. Technical Skills: Proficient in BIRT (Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools). Strong SQL skills, including experience with complex queries, joins, and stored procedures. Solid understanding of JavaScript for report customization and enhancements. Experience with Crystal Reports development. Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with various stakeholders. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Key Responsibilities: BIRT Report Development: Design, develop, and maintain complex reports using BIRT, ensuring data accuracy and report performance. SQL Proficiency: Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries and stored procedures to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various sources. JavaScript Integration: Utilize JavaScript to enhance and customize BIRT reports, ensuring seamless functionality and user interaction. Crystal Reports: Develop and maintain Crystal Reports, ensuring consistency with business requirements and data integrity. Data Analysis & Validation: Perform data analysis and validation to ensure that the reports meet the business requirements and are error-free. Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, IT, and business stakeholders, to gather requirements and deliver reporting solutions. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for report development processes, including design specifications and user guides. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to report generation, data discrepancies, and performance bottlenecks. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends and technologies related to reporting tools and recommend improvements to the current reporting infrastructure.
