| From: Prabhat, VYZEINC [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Description - Position: Cloud Networking Engineer Location: Phoenix, AZ Duration: 6 months, with a possibility of extension to hire Start Date: Immediate Experience Level: 5+ years Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Cloud Networking Engineer with a strong background in designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based network infrastructures. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Azure and AWS environments, with a focus on building consistent cloud tenants, troubleshooting, and implementing best practices for scalable cloud solutions. This role requires strong technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to mentor team members. Key Responsibilities: Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN) in cloud environments. Configure and install software, servers, routers, and other network devices. Monitor network performance and integrity, ensuring high availability and reliability. Troubleshoot escalated issues from support tiers related to cloud and local infrastructure. Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness to streamline operations. Mentor and guide team members on technical issues and best practices. Develop, oversee, and test security measures, including access authentication and disaster recovery plans. Communicate with users to provide support and address network-related concerns. Maintain complete and up-to-date technical documentation. Identify and suggest improvements to enhance network performance, capacity, and scalability. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements: Extensive experience in cloud network engineering, specifically in Azure and AWS. Proven experience in setting up cloud environments for applications and web services. Expertise in building and baselining infrastructure objects to create consistent cloud tenants across multiple providers. Basic understanding of network operating systems (JUNOS, Cisco IOS). Knowledge of IPSEC and other VPN technologies, particularly in cloud settings. Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools (e.g., SolarWinds). Strong understanding of routers, switches, and firewalls. Industry-related experience as a Senior Network Engineer or Network Administrator. Oracle Cloud Infrastructure networking experience (nice to have). Solid background in network administration and architecture. In-depth understanding of communication protocols (TCP/IP) and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF). Familiarity with access control models and network security. Experience with Fortinet, Cisco ASA, and Palo Alto firewalls. Proficiency with Azure Virtual WAN and Palo Alto Prisma Cloud. Experience with SD-WAN and Virtual WAN technologies. Basic Linux OS experience. Desired Skills: Strong troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to mentor and lead. Strong customer service orientation with the ability to collaborate effectively with peers and customers. Project management skills for creating timelines and cost estimations. Training delivery and presentation skills for guiding team members through new processes. Willingness to work after hours for project support and maintenance activities.
