Advanced knowledge of design patterns, performance issues and troubleshooting strategies within Microsoft .NET, Azure SQL Server, and T-SQL. Skilled in the use of multiple development technologies including Microsoft .NET, (C#, VB.NET), ASP.NET/MVC, WCF/Web API, ASP.NET Web Forms, JavaScript frameworks (Angular, Knockout, and others), REST, XML, JSON, HTML, and CSS. Skill in Azure cloud architecting and deploying high volume, high transaction based, distributed and redundant web applications. Ability to architect state-of-the-art cloud-based applications leveraging PaaS (Platform as a Service) and IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) offerings for leading vendors such as Microsoft Azure. Skill with Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) Skill in conducting complex systems analysis and translating into business solutions. Knowledge of Dimensional Modeling, including knowledge of key concepts used in star schemas. Advanced knowledge of development methodologies including waterfall and agile. Ability to prepare computer program test plans and to create test databases and test environments. Skilled in verbal and written communication, interpersonal, conflict resolution, and customer service. Ability to balance multiple demands and work both independently and as part of a team. Ability to integrate research and best practices into problem avoidance and continuous improvement. Ability to display professionalism in dealing with all levels of management and staff. Ability to exhibit creativity and resourcefulness at problem solving while collaborating and working effectively with others across varied disciplines. Ability to develop and manage information systems documentation in accordance with the Departments standards. Knowledge of financial systems such as PeopleSoft ERP. Experience in coordinating with Business Analysts to capture business requirements. Ability to bridge the gap between technical and business language. PREFERRED JOB SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Years of Experience Year Skill Last Used Knowledge of the Florida Accounting Information Resource (FLAIR) system and budget management. Knowledge of the Florida Department of Transportation Financial Management (FM) system, including Work Program Administration, Project Costing, Federal Aid and Federal Billing subsystem details and interfacing methods. Knowledge of mainframe computer systems and supporting software such as Customer Information Control System (CICS), Time Sharing Option (TSO), and Interactive System Productivity Facility (ISPF).
