Role: Sr Data Analyst Location: Remote (Contract) Exp: 12+ yrs Job Description: Key Responsibilities: Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from various databases. Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business strategies. Develop, implement, and maintain data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards, and performance metrics. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights. Use data science techniques and tools to analyze and interpret data, develop predictive models, and perform statistical analyses. Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear, concise, and actionable manner. Ensure data integrity and accuracy by performing regular data audits and validation checks. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in data analysis and data science. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Masters degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role, with a strong focus on SQL. Proficiency in SQL, with the ability to write, optimize, and maintain complex queries. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., QlikSense., Tableau) Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. Experience with statistical analysis and data mining techniques. Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R is a plus. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing data-related issues. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with machine learning algorithms and predictive modeling. Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
