The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL and ETL testing, along with a deep understanding of healthcare or life sciences domains. This role is integral to ensuring the quality and reliability of our data systems, particularly those based on the Observational Medical Outcomes Partnership (OMOP) data model. Key Responsibilities: SQL/ETL Testing: Design, develop, and execute complex SQL queries to validate ETL processes and ensure the accuracy and integrity of data transformations. Identify and resolve data quality issues. Data Validation: Collaborate closely with data engineers and analysts to perform comprehensive testing and validation of large datasets, ensuring data consistency, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory requirements. OMOP Data Model Experience: Utilize your knowledge of the OMOP data model to perform specialized testing and validation activities tailored to healthcare and life sciences data. Ensure data is correctly mapped, transformed, and loaded into the data warehouse. Documentation: Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Document testing results and track defects to closure, providing clear and concise reporting to stakeholders. Required Qualifications: Proven experience as a SEIT or similar role, with a strong focus on SQL and ETL testing. In-depth knowledge of the OMOP data model and experience working with healthcare or life sciences data. Experience in designing and executing complex SQL queries for data validation and transformation. Strong understanding of ETL processes, data warehousing concepts, and data quality best practices. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards in healthcare and life sciences. Experience with data visualization and reporting tools is a plus.
