| Job Title: Mid-Level Pega Developer Location: Vienna, VA/Pensacola, FL/ San Diego, CA(Locals) Duration: Long Term USC/GC Hybrid Days in-office requirement: 2x a week or 8x a month Basic Purpose: Develop technical solutions for importing and ingesting Customer Data into Pega CDH on Pega Cloud. The Data Engineer will be responsible for guiding the design, development, of Navy Federal's Data with a specific focus on Pega DataFlow, and ETL pipelines to support Pega Marketing systems capabilities. Solves highly complex problems; takes a broad perspective to identify solutions. Interacts with other functional teams or projects. Works independently. Qualifications and Education Requirements: Load Customer Data into Pega CDH on Pega Cloud, monitor data quality and implement related controls. Migrate existing ETL for the Pega marketing PaaS solution to a Pega managed service in the cloud, SaaS solution. Evaluate possible designs, improve methods, and implement optimizations. Document best practices for data models, data loads, query performance and enforce with other team members. Implement integration plans and interface with testing teams to incorporate plans into the integration testing process. Develop custom systems integration solution components as dictated by business requirements. Perform data archival. Create reports to provide insight into ETL execution statistics and status. Ensure the security and integrity of solutions including compliance with Navy Federal, industry engineering and Information Security principles and practices. Analyze and validate data sharing requirements within and outside data partners. Work directly with business leadership to understand data requirements; propose and develop solutions that enable effective decision-making and drives business objectives. A Certified Pega Senior System Architect or Lead System Architect with significant experience developing solution is Customer Decision Hub (CDH) Certified Pega Decisioning Consultant (CPDC) with strong Decisioning expertise and ownership of technical solutions. Responsible for architecting and designing business applications using Pega PRPC and other Pega frameworks. Responsible for technical oversight and implementation of Pegasystems solutions. Manage and ensure quality standards of Pega implementations. Lead the discussions and initiatives on integration of other applications with Pega based application. Qualifications and Education Requirements: Required: o Bachelors degree in Information Systems/Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience o Working knowledge of banking/financial industry standards and practices o Experienced in the use of ETL tools and techniques and have knowledge of CI/CD o Very good understanding of SQL (Advanced level) o Strong knowledge and experience with configuration, load-balancing, auto-scaling, monitoring, networking, and problem-solving in a cloud environment o Experience with processing various file types o Experience in ITIL Service Operations including Incident, Problem, & Alert Management o Hands-on experience with Pega 8.x, PostgresQL and Cassandra o Hands-on experience creating automated data pipelines using Pega DataFlow and other modern technology stacks for batch ETL or API o Knowledge of the PRPC Architecture and PRPC design and implementation o Knowledge of Pega Application packaging, security, rulesets, portals, reports, and other Pega OOTB tools o Demonstrates change management and/or excellent communication skills. o Experience leading/training junior team members on Pega application and incidents Desired: o Experience analyzing log files and reports from application sources o 5+ years of experience in application support and incident and problem management o 5+ years supporting Pega applications o Pega Cloud experience o Pega Certified System/Senior System Architect o Experience on all Pega products including Robot Manager, Deployment Manager, AppFactory and CDH o Extensive debugging skills in PRPC using tracer, clipboard and rules inspector o Experience with PDC and server monitoring and agents monitoring -- Keywords: continuous integration continuous deployment information technology green card California Florida Virginia Mid-Level Pega Developer||Hybrid||Vienna, VA/Pensacola, FL/ San Diego, CA||USC,GC|| [email protected] |
