The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in a multi-tier and multi-platform enterprise class environments. - 8-10 hours per day - M-F, JFS core hours: 7a-6p (any 8-10 hours w/in those times) - Subject to On-Call (we have an on-call rotation) Knowledge Strong knowledge of Unix, Linux, Windows operating system and system administration tasks Highly available vertical / horizontal scaling, disaster recovery capabilities Single Sign On, network load balancer, firewall, IP subnets. Advanced root cause analysis and written and verbal communications skills. Experience supporting and participating in 24 X 7 on-call weekly rotation. Communicate the deployment/release schedule, release artifacts, priorities, and status to all stakeholders. Coordinate releases with internal stakeholders. Work closely with the development teams to design solutions, deploy and maintain application. Install, configure and deploy new WebSphere application servers on AIX and Linux Write and deploy shell scripts, automate tasks. Experience with one or more webserver setup Apache, IBM Http Server and IIS Experience working with SSL and application security in WebSphere. Troubleshoot, collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues. Participate in defining corporate implementation and integration strategies of new technologies. Experience administering platforms like MuleSoft, RabbitMQ, Docker / Podman, Promethus, Azure CI / CD. Containers and Cloud Management Work with cloud platforms Azure, AWS or Google Cloud.
