Requirements: IT work experience in infrastructure/network environments (1-3 years); Preferred: Experience with HPE/Aruba networking equipment; Related networking certifications Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Manage and configure network switch equipment, including startup and running configurations; Perform network configurations, ensuring high-quality service from DMARC to workstations, covering fiber distribution, routers, switches, and DHCP; Monitor and maintain network performance (LAN, WLAN, WAN), troubleshoot issues, and use remote monitoring tools for efficient operations; Conduct capacity and resource planning, assess network risks, and develop contingency plans; Communicate firewall rule requirements to the Information Security Team to support projects and new equipment; Utilize network management tools to identify faults and ensure seamless data and telecommunications access; Adhere to departmental procedures, track incidents and IT equipment through service desk systems, and participate in after-hours on-call rotations; Ability to lift 50 pounds; Travel to remote locations to provide support, as needed Keywords: information technology Florida Idaho Network Technician [email protected] |
