Role: Devops Engineer with Bigdata, ADF Location: Seattle, WA (Only Locals) Duration: Contract Experience: Minimum 10+ years Key Skills: Azure, Devops, ADF, BigData Note: Only H1 Visa who can share PP (Dont share GC, GC EAD, H4, OPT/CPT) Role Description: Design, develop, and manage Azure Data Factory pipelines to support data integration and ETL processes. Implement CI/CD pipelines for Azure Data Factory, ensuring seamless integration with other data platforms. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Azure Data Factory pipelines for performance and reliability. Collaborate with data engineering teams to deploy, manage, and scale big data solutions (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) in cloud environments. Automate the deployment and scaling of big data infrastructure to support high-volume data processing tasks. Implement best practices for data security, compliance, and governance in big data ecosystems. Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. Manage continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for multiple environments (Dev, QA, Production). Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system reliability and availability. Collaborate with UX/UI designers and front-end developers to ensure seamless integration of user-facing applications with backend systems. Optimize deployment processes to enhance the end-user experience with minimal downtime and disruptions. Provide feedback and suggestions to improve the overall user experience of the applications and platforms. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, UX designers, and product managers, to align on project goals and deliverables. Document processes, configurations, and workflows for future reference and onboarding purposes. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 3+ years of experience in DevOps, with a focus on Azure Data Factory, Big Data platforms, and UX integration. Proficient in managing and deploying Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines. Strong understanding of Big Data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud infrastructure. Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps). Experience working with UX/UI teams to optimize application deployments for user experience. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment. Problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to adapt to new technologies and processes in a fast-paced environment.
