Need One strong candidate here. USC/GC Look for 8+ years of experience candidates as a Scrum Master Only! I know the job description called out strong project mgmt. skills but I'm particularly looking for someone that has more agile experience. Someone with 5+ years in a SM role at different organizations that have worked with scrum teams directly. SM will be the main focus in this role. They won't be managing projects budgets so there is no need for a seasoned PM that has managed a 10M project as an example. This role focuses on helping the team improve on agile concepts, mindsets, and process improvements. Q&A between Dave and Vu- Are you using SAFe (don't think you are) or is it all Scrum and Kanban VT correct, NO SAFe at ECMC. Scrum is primarily used here though the candidate should have understood and be familiar with diff frameworks such as Kanban. Do the Scrum Masters need to have experience as an Agile Coach or is having strong Scrum Master experience enough VT strong SM experience is enough. They'll coach their own scrum team through understanding agile values/principles and concepts of scrum. Enterprise Agile Coaching experience is not required I'm assuming you want local options only that can work onsite 2 days a week or is nonlocal remote candidates, ok too VT local candidates in case they do have to come in from time to time. Anything else helpful to know that's not on the description which is a good description. VT nothing else comes to mind but please ping with any questions that I might not be thinking of. Duration is 6 months with expected extensions. Hybrid within office on Monday and Tuesday then remote rest of the week.
