From: Piyush Kumar, Siriinfo [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Role: SAP Business Analyst, Tax & Fixed Assets Location: Remote Key Responsibilities for #SAP #BusinessAnalyst, #Tax & #FixedAssets Overview: SAP Business Analyst with expertise in SAP Tax and Fixed Assets implementations, specifically focusing on integrating the OneSource tax engine across the US, Canada, and Mexico. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP FI/CO modules, a strong understanding of tax compliance requirements, and hands-on experience with fixed asset management within SAP. Tax Implementation: Understand (lead) the implementation and integration of the OneSource tax engine within SAP for operations in the US, Canada, and Mexico. Collaborate with tax and finance teams to ensure accurate configuration of tax codes, rates, and jurisdictions. Understand indirect tax compliance, including VAT, GST, sales, in US, Canada and Mx. Ensure the SAP system is fully compliant with local tax regulations across the three regions and collaborate with your PIL and DBT team . Review/Create features required by the business and collaborate with your PIL before creating the requirement docs. Review previous design from the previous release to ensure that previous design were considered in developing solution. Understanding of enhancements and reports developed from previous release (BI, Data lake, FIORI) . Perform all unit testing with your PIL. Fixed Assets: Implement and optimize SAP Fixed Assets module to track and manage company assets. Understand asset classes, depreciation keys, and related master data in SAP. Oversee the entire asset lifecycle from acquisition to disposal, ensuring accurate financial reporting. Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to fixed assets. Gather, document, and analyze business requirements related to tax and fixed assets processes. Translate business needs into functional specifications and technical requirements. Perform gap analysis between current and desired state, identifying areas for process improvement. Lead or support project management activities including scoping, planning, execution, and monitoring of tax and fixed asset projects. Work with stakeholders to define requirements, deliverables, and previous designs implemented. Coordinate with IT teams, external consultants, and vendors to ensure seamless integration and implementation. Prepare and deliver training to end-users on new functionalities and processes. Develop and execute test plans for tax and fixed asset configurations, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Identify and resolve any defects or issues related to tax and fixed asset configurations. Ensure thorough documentation of test results and system changes. Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax laws, and corporate policies. Generate and review tax and fixed asset reports for accuracy and completeness. Provide support during audits, ensuring all necessary documentation and system records are up to date.
