Systems Administrator is currently seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to work in our clients Midland Michigan s office within their R& D Infrastructure area IT reporting to a Senior Manager. Duties Work with the IT team and senior technical staff on special projects to uplift, modernize and secure the server environment as directed. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with at least 5+ years of system administration. Demonstrated ability to support multiple projects simultaneously and to complete tasks with minimal management oversight. Required Skills 5+ years of demonstrated proficiency and experience in the following: Server Administration: Windows Server: Windows Server O/S versions 2012 through 2022 Linux Server: Ubuntu preferred. Databases: Write SQL queries against Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL databases Web Server administration & configuration: IIS, Tomcat, Nginx Scripting Languages: PowerShell and Bash Authentication: Active Directory, LDAP and Oauth2 Software: Installation, configuration, and deployment of software applications (Custom and Commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software) on servers Excellent problem solving, troubleshooting, collaboration and communication skills Nice To Have Qualifications Experience setting up VM servers and deploying applications in the Azure cloud.
