| Job Title: Network Engineer Location: Day 1 onsite Hybrid Module ( Hybrid role (typically 2-3 days a week onsite) therefore candidates will need to be local or willing to relocate for the role ) Duration: 6+ Month Contract MOI: Phone then video Interview. Rate: $40-41/hr on C2C Max. Visa: No H1B/TN (Need LinkedIn URL of the Candidate with profile picture ) Job Description: The Network Engineer will be assisting in the designing and maintaining of computer networks, including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), internet, intranet, cloud, data center and other communications systems. The Network Engineer will work under the direction of the IT Infrastructure Manager and with various other departments and teams both technical and non-technical. Performs administration and implementation tasks for the organizations network infrastructure, including wired, wireless, and voice connectivity. Responds to requests for installation, administration, and support of network components and systems. Provides technical support for network issues, network analysis, installation, configuration, and support. Coordinates and makes assignments for the current and future requirements of assigned areas of responsibility. Implements and provides guidance related to processes and policies. Creates and maintains network documentation, including scopes of works, diagrams, processes, and test plans. Monitors network performance and investigates problems and outages to resolution. Evaluates and recommends solutions that are feasible, cost effective, compatible, and consistent with the department and organizations strategic goals. Researches, plans, tests, and supports the implementation of various business and technical solutions. Responds as required or requested on a 24/7 on-call basis to support the organization. Working with other network engineers and/or vendor support to reduce network service disruption. Takes initiative, exercises sound judgement, communicates, and when necessary, directs inside and outside resources to resolve problems. Perform network modeling, analysis, and planning for the enterprise Incorporate security best practices in Network design implementation Required Skills and Qualifications: 4-5 Years of Networking experience Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or similar field of study. Equivalent combination of experience and relevant industry certification may be substituted as appropriate Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to track, manage, and ensure project tasks are completed in a timely manner Ability to prioritize multiple simultaneous projects. Working Technical Knowledge in Network Automation and Network Design. Working knowledge in Enterprise Wireless Technology Working knowledge in Extreme Networks (Extreme Routing and Switching, Extreme Fabric Connect, ExtremeCloud IQ) is a plus. Working knowledge in low voltage structured cabling design and outside plant fiber optic cabling design.
