Job Title: Senior SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) Lead Location: Emeryville, CA. Day 1 onsite Job Summary: The Senior SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) Lead will be responsible for leading the design, development, and deployment of SAP MDG solutions across the organization. This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to ensure that master data governance processes align with business objectives and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP MDG, data management, and a deep understanding of SAP ecosystems. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of SAP MDG solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements. Develop and enforce data governance policies, standards, and procedures for master data management across all domains (e.g., material, customer, vendor, finance). Ensure the integration of MDG with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP ECC, S/4HANA) and non-SAP systems Develop and execute a comprehensive data governance strategy, including data quality, data stewardship, and data lifecycle management. Collaborate with business units to define data ownership, accountability, and stewardship models. Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, identify data management needs, and provide expert advice on data governance best practices. Serve as the primary point of contact for all SAP MDG-related inquiries and issues. Identify opportunities for process improvement in master data management and governance. Implement best practices for data quality management, including data cleansing, data enrichment, and validation processes. Lead SAP MDG projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including IT, business analysts, and external vendors, to ensure successful project execution. Develop and deliver training programs to ensure end-users understand and adhere to data governance policies and processes. Provide ongoing support and guidance to data stewards and other key stakeholders. Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR) and internal security policies.
