Role: Perl Developer Location: Salt Lake City, UT (Onsite) Duration: Contract Experience: Minimum 10+ years Note: No Visa Restriction Role Description: Responsibilities: Develop, test, and maintain Perl scripts and applications to meet project requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement software solutions. Debug and optimize existing Perl code for performance improvements. Integrate Perl applications with third-party services and APIs. Write and maintain technical documentation for code and processes. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner. Stay updated with the latest Perl technologies and industry trends. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a Perl Developer, with strong proficiency in Perl scripting. Familiarity with other programming languages such as Python, Ruby, or PHP is a plus. Experience with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle. Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is preferred. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
