In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of performance testing automation frameworks. Your expertise in Java, combined with a deep understanding of performance engineering principles, will be instrumental in ensuring the optimal performance and scalability of our applications.Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the team, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards. Drive the adoption of performance automation frameworks and tools within the organization. Collaborate with stakeholders to define performance testing strategies and objectives. Framework Development: Design, develop, and maintain reusable performance test automation frameworks using Java and relevant tools. Integrate performance testing into the CI/CD pipeline to enable continuous testing and delivery. Optimize framework performance and scalability to meet evolving business needs. Performance Testing: Conduct performance tests to identify and address bottlenecks and performance issues. Analyze test results to provide actionable insights and recommendations for improvement. Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance. Automation: Automate manual testing processes to improve efficiency and reduce time-to-market. Develop automated scripts for various performance testing scenarios. Integrate performance testing automation into existing DevOps pipelines. Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in performance testing and automation. Share knowledge and expertise with the team through training and mentoring.Required Skills and Experience Proven track record in IT environment working as a Tech Lead, Architect, or relevant role. Strong Problem Solving and Critical Thinking skills. Expertise in Java, including Spring Boot framework. Experience with Pipeline Orchestration using Groovy and Jenkins Shared Libraries. Hands-on experience with Continuous Testing and integration into a CI/CD pipeline. Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Groovy, Perl, Unix shell). Solid understanding of OOP, Software Design Patterns, and Architecture principles. Excellent Communication Skills. Able to clearly communicate ideas to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience with using version control and source management tools, such as Bitbucket. Understanding of Performance Testing/Engineering Concepts and usage of JMeter.Additional Skills (Preferred) Understanding of REST and Micro-Service Architecture. Experience working with AWS. Experience automating performance testing through the CI/CD pipeline. Experience in Performance Engineering. Familiarity with the ELK stack.
