Job Description Profile Analyze Source Data (Mainframe Extracts, flat files, SQL Server, Web services etc.) usage using Informatica ETL Analyzing and evaluating data sources, data volume and business rules Automation, job scheduling, dependencies, monitoring Extraction, transformation and load of data using ETL tools Configure Script Business rules and transformation rules in Informatica Design, development of ETL Informatica jobs as per the Business requirements Understanding the data model, designing the model for EDW, mapping the data and running the ETL jobs Ensure appropriate level of Unit Test and System Test of all deliverables Understanding of deployment process of both Informatica PowerCenter and IICS jobs Knowledge in version control tools like Bitbucket, Git etc and knowledge of branching and check-in of code Defect fixes for System Test, Operational Acceptance Test and Production Other Skills Required: Good experience in Defect tracking tool Experience in Design and implementation of complex ETL processes. Proficient in writing complex SQL queries Good Understanding of traditional RDBMS systems like SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata etc. Excellent problem solving, debugging, performance tuning skills Excellent communication skills Qualifications Any Graduate with degree in Engineering Science A great communicator of ideas and solutions and a lateral thinker when faced with complex performance or production issues (1.) To be responsible for providing technical guidance to a team of developers, enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity. (2.) To conduct comprehensive code reviews, establish and oversee quality assurance processes, performance optimization, implementation of best practices and coding standards to ensure successful delivery of complex projects. (3.) To ensure process compliance in the assigned module and participate in technical discussions or review as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations). (4.) To collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables and accordingly prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure and closure of escalations.
