Role: Linux Administrator Location: Albany, New York Duration: 24 Months Job ID: SLG - 19 - 9774 Client: NY State Respond by Date: 08/27/24 5:00 PM Description System Administrator consultant to provide assistance with installation, configuration, troubleshooting of 3rd party application and security vulnerability mitigation. Duties Software installation and configuration. Troubleshoot software installation issues. Perform problem root cause analysis. Citrix Netscaler administrator or Axway SecureTransport administrator (enterprise file transfer system). Assist in creation and update of techinical documenation. Assist in process impovement. Day to day operational task for Axway SecureTransport File Transfer system.(create,update,troubleshoot and remove accounts as needed) Assist in vulnerability mitigation for various application installations. On-call and some weekend work will be required. Additional tasks as assigned. Mandatory Requirements Experience (8+ Years) Maintains the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems; especially multi-user computers, such as servers. Ensures that the uptime, performance, resources and security of the computers he or she manages meet the needs of the users.
