The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing deployment strategies across various environments, ensuring seamless transitions from development to production. This role demands hands-on expertise in deploying code branches, managing production releases, and imparting best practices within the team. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement robust deployment architectures across multiple environments, ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements. Manage the entire CI/CD pipeline, from development through to production, utilizing tools such as Jenkins, UrbanCode Deploy (UCD), GitHub, and Terraform. Deploy code branches and manage production releases, ensuring the integrity, stability, and performance of production environments. Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline processes and ensure seamless integrations. Provide guidance and share best practices for deployment strategies, configuration management, and environment management. Troubleshoot deployment issues and optimize processes to improve efficiency and reliability. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and tools in DevOps and deployment architecture to continuously improve practices. Qualifications: Industry Experience: 5+ years of experience in DevOps with a strong focus on deployment architecture and environment management. Previous experience working with Fannie Mae or similar financial institutions is required. Technical Expertise: Proficient in Jenkins, UrbanCode Deploy (UCD), GitHub, and Terraform. Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles. Deployment Skills: Extensive experience in deploying code branches, managing production releases, and ensuring the integrity and stability of production environments. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot deployment issues and optimize processes. Preferred Skills: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
