Leadership and Strategy: Lead the planning, design, and implementation of SAP TM solutions to meet business requirements and enhance transportation management capabilities.o Develop and execute a transportation management strategy that aligns with the organization s supply chain and logistics objectives. 2. Solution Design and Configuration:o Oversee the configuration and customization of SAP TM modules to support transportation planning, execution, and monitoring. Design and implement processes for transportation planning, shipment execution, freight costing, and transportation analytics. 3. Project Management:o Manage SAP TM projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.o Develop project plans, allocate resources, and monitor progress to achieve project milestones and objectives. 4. Integration and Data Management:o Ensure seamless integration between SAP TM and other SAP modules (e.g., SAP ERP, SAP S4HANA) as well as third-party systems.o Oversee data management activities, including data migration, data quality, and master data management related to transportation processes. 5. Process Optimization:o Identify opportunities for process improvements in transportation management and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.o Analyze transportation data and performance metrics to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. 6. Stakeholder Collaboration:o Work closely with business stakeholders, including supply chain, logistics, and IT teams, to gather and validate requirements for SAP TM solutions.o Facilitate workshops and meetings to understand business needs, provide updates, and address any issues or concerns. 7. Training and Support:o Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users on SAP TM functionalities and processes.o Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SAP TM systems, including troubleshooting and resolving issues. 8. Compliance and Risk Management:o Ensure that SAP TM processes comply with legal, regulatory, and organizational standards.o Identify and mitigate risks associated with transportation management and SAP TM systems. Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in SAP Transportation Management with a strong background in leading TM projects and optimizing transportation processes. Skills:o In-depth knowledge of SAP TM modules and their integration with other SAP and third-party systems.o Proven experience in project management and leading implementation projects.o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with complex data and processes.o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Certifications: SAP certification in SAP TM or related modules is preferred. (1.) To design and develop new tools as per the client s requirements andor customize the existing tools. (2.) To lead the technical design , ensuring alignment with business requirements, industry standards, and best practices, while determining the optimal configuration of modules, databases, interfaces, and integrations to support business processes. (3.) To prepare capability presentations, assessments, proposal preparation. (4.) To coordinate project management related activities like creating project plans, allocating resources, and coordinating activities among team members and stakeholders. (5.) To support the professional growth and development of the consulting team members by training, and mentorship.
