Top Required Skills & Years of Experience: o Eight or more years of software testing experience as a Quality Assurance analyst not limited to unit, system, and integration testing. o Ability to create Test plans, write Test scenarios, Use cases and other related documents. o Ability to documents issues/bugs with supporting artifacts for development team. o Experience working in .NET, JAVA and MS SQL Server database environment. o Ability to perform end-to-end application testing including load testing and regression testing. Duration of the Contract: Current contract lasts until 6/30/2025, with extension up to 1+ years possible. Onsite or Remote Candidates must be CURRENT WI residents. No relocation allowed. JOB DESCRIPTION: Overview The School Nutrition Team is responsible for assisting the WI Department of Health Services (DHS) with the administration of the U.S. Department of Agricultures Summer EBT Program. The program must be administered following federal regulations. This is a unique program and requires specific applications, programming, language, and platforms. The School Nutrition Team is responsible for maintaining a database of program eligible students, hosting a state-wide program application, and completing the application verification process and providing DHS data needed to issue the program benefits to households. The Quality Assurance Analyst III will report directly to the School Nutrition Team Director. This position is responsible for writing and executing test requirements, plans, scenarios, cases, and scripts using a variety of testing tools as well as completing functional, integration, back-end, regression, user acceptance, and other testing. The School Nutrition Team Director will monitor progress of the projects to ensure timeliness. Position Summary Develops technical procedures, methodologies, metrics, checklists, and standards. Identifies and applies best practices. Evaluates software development procedures used to verify that programs function according to user requirements and conform to establishment guidelines. Writes, revises, and verifies quality standards for program design and product evaluation to attain quality of software economically and efficiently. Evaluates program output and reports for accuracy, and policies and procedures for quality. Evaluates networks to determine efficiencies and the quality of security systems, etc. Reviews new or modified programs, including documentation and specifications, to determine if program will perform according to user request and conform to guidelines. Recommends program improvements or corrections to programmers. Identifies differences between establishment standards and user applications and suggests modifications to conform to standards. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Independently, performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
