This role requires a strategic thinker with deep expertise in business analysis and project management, particularly in SaaS tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise-level retail operations and be adept at managing cross-functional teams to ensure seamless deployment and adoption of Smartsheet. This person will NOT do the implementation but gather requirements for the project and be able to analyze the data in smartsheets for strategic decisions moving forward. We are seeking a Senior Data Business Analyst to lead the implementation of Smartsheet, a collaborative work management tool, to optimize our business processes and drive growth. Position Overview: The Senior Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in the successful implementation and integration of Smartsheet within our organization. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep expertise in business analysis and project management, particularly in SaaS tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise-level retail operations and be adept at managing cross-functional teams to ensure seamless deployment and adoption of Smartsheet. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Implementation Strategy:** Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for the implementation of Smartsheet, aligning with organizational goals and processes. - **Stakeholder Engagement:** Collaborate with key stakeholders, including senior management, department heads, and end-users, to gather requirements, understand business needs, and ensure alignment with Smartsheet capabilities. - **Requirements Analysis:** Conduct detailed analysis of existing business processes and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement and define how Smartsheet can be tailored to meet these needs. - **Solution Design:** Design and document Smartsheet solutions that optimize business operations, enhance collaboration, and streamline project management. - **Project Management:** Lead the Smartsheet implementation project, including planning, resource allocation, timeline management, and risk mitigation. - **Training & Support:** Develop and deliver training programs for end-users, ensuring they are proficient in using Smartsheet. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting to address any issues or challenges. - **Change Management:** Drive change management efforts to facilitate smooth adoption of Smartsheet, including communication strategies and user engagement initiatives. - **Performance Monitoring:** Establish metrics and benchmarks to evaluate the effectiveness of Smartsheet in meeting business objectives. Provide regular updates and reports to senior management. - **Continuous Improvement:** Stay current with Smartsheet updates and industry best practices to continuously enhance the tools utilization and ensure it remains aligned with business needs. **Qualifications:** - **Education:** Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. MBA or other advanced degree preferred. - **Experience:** Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a proven track record in implementing SaaS solutions in enterprise environments. Prior experience with Smartsheet is highly desirable. **Skills:** Minimum 9 to 12 years candidates - Deep understanding of business processes and operations within the retail industry. - Proficiency in Smartsheet or similar collaborative work management tools, such as SharePoint - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex requirements into practical solutions. - Excellent project management skills, including experience with Agile or similar methodologies. - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
