| Hello , ONLY LOCALS TO INDIANAPOLIS Position: Project Manager Specialist (746005) Location: Indianapolis, IN (Hybrid Role) Duration: 12+ Months Contract JOB DESCRIPTION: Working with the LGP to establish development plans and project timelines, considering all aspects of each projects development. This includes managing deliverables to the dates set by the Committee. Participation in and documentation of SLCGP Planning Committee meetings as well as other meetings required to support project development. Assisting with the development of efficient processes and then managing those processes to ensure effective communications between all parties associated with the SLCGPs development. This may include coordinating meetings with the working groups, SLCGP Planning Committee, CISO, and CIO. A detailed understanding of the SLCGPs objectives and requirements. Common project management duties including: Plan, develop and refine projects Provide guidance, direction, and input on the teams direction Monitor and manage progress, set deadlines, deliver regular reports, charts, etc. demonstrating status and metrics on key project components Issue identification and solutions Thoroughly communicate project information to all stakeholders Report on PM costs to the project Set expectations and ensure stakeholder satisfaction Evaluate project performance. Resource will be responsible for the following tasks: A detailed project plan with timelines developed from meeting with the SLCGP Planning Committee, CISO, and CIO. The project plan may include recommendations about additional needs for successful implementation of Indianas Cybersecurity Plan. Reports, charts, timelines, and other status deliverables relating to the SLCGP. Reports, charts, timelines, and other status deliverables relating to the distribution of funds to-date and funds remaining on the grant. SKILL Required/ Desired Required Experience Candidate Experience Project management skills and experience, documented through work history and relevant credentials Required 05 Years Experience managing large, enterprise-type projects involving multiple internal/external stakeholders Required 05 Years Project Management Professional certification Required Project+ (Manager will consider someone who has PMP, but not Project+) Required Exceptional written and verbal communications skills, with preference for individuals who have worked with technical and non-technical audiences Required 05 Years Substantial experience coordinating and monitoring activities of stakeholders to ensure timelines and budgets are met Required 05 Years Substantial experience communicating a project status to management and project stakeholders Required 05 Years Thorough knowledge of project cost management, benefit analysis, risk management, funding/resource monitoring and estimation Required 05 Years Advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office 365 products and Visio Required 03 Years Experience briefing and/or working closely with executive-level staff Required 03 Years Experience developing, monitoring, and maintaining project plans Required 03 Years Experience defining user requirements, deliverables, and approvals Required 03 Years Experience working with one or more government agencies at any level (federal, state, local).
