Can hire off video, local preferred but can relocate for day one Team Size: 3 Folks + the lead/They have a senior engineer that can provide good leadership and help guide this architectural decision. They are having experience debugging systems Start Date: October 1st Need current consultants to finish before starting Note : LOCALS WILL GET 1st Preference Why is the position open Backfill due to performance They are looking for someone who can join their team. There is 3 pillars and knowledge in Go and Kubernetes. What are you trying to accomplish Having skills that demonstrate that distribute systems. They are looking for someone who has done this with cloud systems. This talked to system A, B, C and where are the actually failing logs. The more hands-on experience the better, and the only blogs are only on his laptop. There is quite complex. They need someone who can hit the ground running. They are interested in pro-activity. This is maintaining production systems. They are motivated to understand how its operating in production. They need to monitor the ropes, and unique and diverse. This is functioning and offering catch issues. This is a big emphasis on this and these folks are not going to sit around and invested in running the product. They are looking at ways to continue to improve it. They will not be doing new feature. They have DevOps Team to do the infrastructure and understand the language on how it works. They had an instance where they were having spikes error codes, and the engineers were expected to go in and the system is this error code. They are looking through the logs and system and they have realized the Kubernetes problem and is indirect issue. The system is scaling is up and down, and they may have something flapping at this point. There is evidence that is not a software issue to configure out how to do that to get ride of this flapping problem. Need to understand if this is software and infrastructure issue. Top Skills: GoLang Kubernetes AWS Must be self-starter Questions to ask: When they provide their answers, when they have specifically done. Using I vs. We, etc. Interview Process: One round interview with the team Submittals: Ideally like 3 submittals per 1 req Required Qualifications: 3+ years of software engineering experience Experience writing clean, concise, tested, maintainable code using Go programming language Experience in implementing low-latency microservices using gRPC protocol Production experience in Public Cloud (AWS, Azure or GCP), CI/CD, and containerization Strong experience in test automation frameworks, optimizing performance and security enabling delivery of robust and maintainable architecture Experience working with large scale, high availability, and highly distributed applications is a plus Experience working with Observability tooling like DataDog We think the knowledge acquired earning a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science would be of great value in this position, but if you're smart and have the experience that backs up your abilities, for us, talent trumps degree every time Thanks and Regards!!
