Hi, Greetings from EIT Professionals, Position: Senior Azure DevOps Engineer Location: Remote We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Azure DevOps practices, a strong understanding of Azure cloud services, and expertise in implementing and managing complex cloud infrastructure. This role will be instrumental in driving our DevOps strategy, ensuring high availability, and maintaining the resilience and security of our cloud environment. Key Responsibilities: - Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS): - Design, implement, and manage AKS clusters to support containerized applications. - Optimize AKS for performance, security, and scalability. - Event-Based Architectures: - Manage Azure Event Hub, Service Bus, and other messaging services to build event-driven applications. - Integrate Azure Functions for serverless computing solutions. - Data Migration: - Plan and execute data migration strategies across various Azure services. - Ensure minimal downtime and data integrity during migrations. - Azure CI/CD Pipelines: - Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment processes. - Implement best practices for continuous integration and delivery in Azure environments. - Azure Data Factory (ADF) & Databricks: - Design and manage data workflows using Azure Data Factory. - Leverage Databricks for big data processing and advanced analytics. - Azure Policy & User Management: - Implement Azure Policies for governance, compliance, and cost management. - Oversee Azure Active Directory (AD) for user and access management. - Azure AI: - Integrate AI and machine learning services into Azure applications. - Collaborate with data scientists to deploy AI models in production. - Networking & Security: - Configure and manage VNets, Subnets, Network Security Groups (NSG), Load Balancers, Firewalls, and Application Gateways. - Ensure robust security practices and compliance with industry standards. - Disaster Recovery & High Availability: - Design and implement Azure-based disaster recovery (DR) plans. - Architect solutions for multi-region deployments with high availability. - Terraform: - Utilize Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) to automate the provisioning of Azure resources. - Maintain and version control infrastructure configurations. - Design & Architecture: - Provide expertise in designing scalable and efficient Azure-based architectures. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align cloud architecture with business goals. Required Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 9+ years of experience in DevOps with a focus on Azure. - Strong proficiency in Azure services, including AKS, Azure Functions, ADF, and Databricks. - Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools. - Extensive knowledge of networking, security, and infrastructure management in Azure. - Experience with Terraform and infrastructure as code practices. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills: - Azure certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert. - Familiarity with AI and machine learning services on Azure. - Experience with multi-region deployments and high-availability architectures. - Knowledge of best practices in cloud governance and compliance.
