The successful candidate will have a strong background in machine learning operations, with a specific focus on developing, testing, and deploying advanced forecasting models. This role requires expertise in data integration, model performance evaluation, and feature selection, along with proficiency in key technologies like Python, R, Azure, and Data Bricks. Roles and Responsibilities: Model Development & Deployment: Design, develop, test, and deploy state-of-the-art forecasting models that align with business objectives. Collaboration: Work closely with data engineers to ensure seamless integration of data for model training and deployment, ensuring data pipelines are robust and scalable. Model Evaluation: Continuously evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics, refining and optimizing models to enhance accuracy and efficiency. Feature Selection: Conduct feature selection to identify the most impactful data inputs, ensuring models are both efficient and effective. MLOps Practices: Implement and maintain MLOps practices, including automation of pipelines, CI/CD processes, and model versioning to streamline operations. Monitoring & Maintenance: Oversee the post-deployment monitoring of models, making necessary updates to maintain performance and relevance over time. Documentation: Create and maintain thorough documentation for models, workflows, and processes to ensure transparency and reproducibility. Primary Skills: Programming Languages: Proficient in Python and R for developing and refining machine learning models. Cloud Platforms: Expertise in Azure, with experience deploying and managing models using Azure services. Data Engineering: Strong experience with DataBricks for data integration, model training, and deployment. Forecasting: In-depth knowledge of forecasting techniques and models, with the ability to apply them to real-world business challenges. MLOps Practices: Familiarity with MLOps tools and best practices, including continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and containerization. Qualifications: Experience: 3+ years of experience in MLOps, data science, or a related field with a focus on forecasting models. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related discipline. A Masters degree is a plus. Technical Skills: Proficiency in machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, Scikit-learn) and experience with cloud-based deployments. Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on optimizing model performance and feature selection. Collaboration: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications: Certifications: Azure certifications or other relevant MLOps certifications. Experience with DataBricks: Demonstrated experience in using DataBricks for large-scale data processing and model deployment. Advanced Forecasting: Experience with advanced statistical methods and machine learning techniques for forecasting.
