Position: Oracle R12.2 Supply Chain Functional Consultant Location: Houston, TX Type: Contract Experience Level:/Senior-Level Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Oracle R12.2 Supply Chain Functional Consultant with a strong background in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Oracle Supply Chain Management (SCM) modules and will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and optimizing Oracle R12.2 solutions to meet business requirements. This role involves collaborating closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into functional specifications and configurations. Key Responsibilities: Lead the implementation and enhancement of Oracle R12.2 Supply Chain modules, with a focus on manufacturing industry processes. Conduct comprehensive business process analysis to identify and document requirements, gaps, and improvement opportunities. Configure and customize Oracle SCM modules (such as Inventory, Order Management, Purchasing, and Advanced Supply Chain Planning) to align with business needs. Develop functional design documents, test plans, and user training materials for Oracle R12.2 solutions. Collaborate with technical teams to design, develop, and test extensions, interfaces, conversions, and reports (RICE components). Provide functional support and troubleshooting for Oracle SCM modules, including end-user support, issue resolution, and root cause analysis. Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfer to end-users and super-users. Support Oracle R12.2 application upgrades, patches, and performance tuning. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, manufacturing, and procurement, to ensure seamless integration and optimization of end-to-end processes. Monitor and manage data quality, process improvements, and system enhancements for supply chain operations. Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field. Minimum of [X] years of experience as an Oracle R12.2 Supply Chain Functional Consultant. Proven expertise in Oracle Supply Chain Management modules, including Inventory, Order Management, Purchasing, and Advanced Supply Chain Planning. Strong understanding of manufacturing industry processes and best practices. Experience in full lifecycle implementations, upgrades, and production support of Oracle R12.2 SCM solutions. Ability to create and manage functional design documents, test scripts, and training materials. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex business requirements. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working effectively with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications: Oracle SCM certification (e.g., Oracle EBS SCM Certified Implementation Specialist). Experience with Oracle Cloud SCM solutions. Familiarity with other Oracle modules (e.g., Discrete Manufacturing, Bill of Materials, Work in Process). Experience with SQL, PL/SQL, and data analysis tools. Experience in global rollouts and multi-organization implementations.
