This is an exciting opportunity for a developer who excels in Python and cloud technologies to contribute to critical projects at a leading financial institution. Key Responsibilities: Develop, test, and maintain high-quality Python applications. Design and implement scalable solutions using AWS services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, secure, and efficient applications. Optimize and refactor existing code for improved performance and maintainability. Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software as required. Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business goals. Required Qualifications: Proven experience with Capital One in a Python Developer role. Strong expertise in Python programming with a deep understanding of its libraries and frameworks. Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.). Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Experience with version control systems, preferably Git. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
