[email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Title: SAP ABAP Developer with BTP Experience Location: Houston, TX ( 3 days in a week) Job Summary: As an SAP ABAP Developer with BTP experience, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ABAP applications within the SAP environment, while leveraging SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) to enhance and extend the capabilities of our SAP systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions that meet business needs and drive operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: ABAP Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy ABAP applications and enhancements. This includes reports, interfaces, conversions, forms, and user exits. SAP BTP Integration: Leverage SAP BTP services to extend and enhance SAP applications. This may involve working with SAP Fiori, SAP Integration Suite, SAP AI Core, and other BTP services. System Analysis: Work with business analysts and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize the performance of ABAP code and SAP applications to ensure high efficiency and scalability. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to ABAP programming, SAP BTP integrations, and overall system performance. Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for all developments, including code comments, design specifications, and user guides. Collaboration: Work closely with other developers, architects, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment of ABAP developments with broader SAP solutions. Up-to-Date: Stay current with SAP developments, tools, and best practices, particularly within the SAP BTP ecosystem. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in ABAP development, with hands-on experience in SAP BTP services. Technical Skills: Proficiency in ABAP programming language and development tools. Experience with SAP BTP services such as SAP Integration Suite, SAP Fiori, SAP AI Core, etc. Familiarity with SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and other SAP modules. Knowledge of SQL, data migration, and integration techniques. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong organizational and time management skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with SAP Cloud Platform Integration. Knowledge of SAP HANA and its capabilities. Certification in SAP ABAP or SAP BTP.
