Parking is not available and comes at a monthly cost direct to contractor. Start: Monday, 9/2/24 Duration: 12 months Interview Process: They are doing MS Teams video interviews Background Check (if applicable): Yes-criminal Hours / Shift: (40 hours) This role is hybrid, with 3 days onsite in Boston, MA expected - make sure its a commutable distance that they are willing to make with other life commitments. Qualifications A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or four-year university in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or other related fields. 3+ years of experience in network security and firewall management. Proficiency with firewall technologies such as Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet, or similar. Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, and switching. Experience with intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS) and VPN technologies. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCNP Security are a plus. Preferred Qualifications Advanced degree in Information Technology, Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or other related field is a plus. Extensive knowledge of Palo Alto firewalls. CCIE or equivalent certification.
