| Must be Local to OH Title: Java Technical Lead Location: Cincinnati, OH ( Onsite, local or nearby) Duration: 12+ Months Visa: No H1B and No TN/CPT Interview: Assessment & Video LinkedIn Profile Key Responsibilities: Define and implement Domain-Driven Design for enterprise applications. Develop robust APIs and real-time data streams, ensuring high performance and scalability. Leverage AWS and Terraform to deliver Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS). Design and implement new features that enhance the quality of our technical products. Serve as a technical expert within an agile squad, guiding development efforts. Ensure code quality through adherence to standards, metrics, and best practices. Mentor junior developers, sharing knowledge and enforcing coding standards. Drive automation and write maintainable, supportable, and testable code. Maintain effective partnerships with operations and engineering teams to drive service improvements. What We're Looking For: Technical Expertise: 10+ years of experience in Java development, with deep knowledge of Java 17+ and Spring Boot. Proven experience in REST API development, containerization, and microservices. Cloud & Infrastructure: Strong experience with AWS, including Elastic Container Service (ECS), and proficiency with Terraform. Familiarity with Jenkins CI/CD, HashiCorp Vault, OpenShift, and the configuration and tuning of Tomcat Embedded. Methodologies & Best Practices: Experience with 12-factor applications, Unit Testing with JUnit, and an understanding of software development methodologies and security best practices. Communication & Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
