| Direct client position Position: Java developer Duration: 11 Months Location: Texas (Remote) Agency: Texas Health and Human Services Commission Client: State of Texas Job description This contractor role is for a Senior Java Developer, and the position will work on the SCOR BAU EI parallel initiative. This role will be responsible for making updates to the SCOR Java. Updates include changes to business logic, updates to the user interface and business logic as well as extending reporting capabilities and the system data model. Supports application enhancements and defect corrections in maintenance mode. Supports applications in multiple environments with coding testing, peer reviews, documentation, defect root cause analysis, and troubleshooting as required. Maintaining code coverage, testing, and security policies and procedures is required. Available for on-call support as needed. Other duties as assigned and required by the unit operations. Required skill: 8 Years of Experience in Object Oriented Programming (OOP) in Java programming language. 8 Years of Experience in applications development on J2EE platform . 8 Years of Experience in writing SQL for relational databases. 8 Years of Experience in RESTful web services on spring platform . 8 Year of Experience working on Spring Aspect Oriented Programming like transaction management and security. 8 Year of Experience with JUnit and Unit Test development . Preferred Skill: 4 Year of Experience with Angular UI Framework. 4 Year of Experience with Crystal Reports. 4 Year of Experience with PowerBI.
