Please find the Job description below, if you are available and interested, please send us your word copy of your resume with following detail to [email protected] or reach me at 469-425-3345 Role: Cyber Compliance Lead Consultant Work Location & Reporting Address: Atlanta, GA / Raleigh, NC Contract duration (in months): 6-12 Months Minimum work experience: 10 Years Crucial role in executing the organizations mission of burning down risk through tactical mitigation and effectively managing the handoff of residual strategic risks. This individual will manage the day-to-day operations of the team. The Deputy Leader will also ensure that any risks requiring long-term strategic planning are seamlessly transitioned to the appropriate channels. Success in this role demands a blend of cybersecurity expertise, leadership, and project management skills, all aimed at minimizing the organizations exposure to cyber threats. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations focused on tactical mitigation of identified risks, ensuring rapid and efficient execution of remediation efforts. Assist in prioritization of tasks and resources to address the most pressing cybersecurity threats Support the transition of residual risks Work closely with the team leader to develop and implement strategies for rapid risk burn-down while ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards and regulations. Act as a point of contact for cross-functional teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment on risk mitigation efforts. Provide regular updates and reports to manager on the progress of tactical risk mitigation Liaise with the Audit Services team and Technology Risk partners to ensure that all remediation actions are thoroughly documented, including the collection of evidence, and that proper closure and handoff procedures are followed. Drive high-impact projects that focus on the tactical mitigation of cybersecurity risks, ensuring they are completed within the 90-day timeframe. Ensure that all tactical remediation activities are properly documented, with a clear collection and archiving of evidence throughout the remediation process. Build and maintain positive relationships with internal stakeholder. Conduct initial analysis to identify underlying issues develop tactical mitigation pat Adapt to changing threat landscapes, adjusting strategies as needed to ensure the timely and effective mitigation of risks. Maintain a proactive approach to risk management, always seeking opportunities to improve processes and reduce organizational risk. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with minimum ten years of prior relevant experience in IT field, including Cybersecurity Direct experience with financial services institutions as well as demonstrable experience in the protection vertical relevant data types (PII, PHI) and legal requirements (HIPAA, etc.) Ability to evaluate the cyber risk of technical solutions through the analysis of architectural documents. Ability to relate business requirements and risks to technical controls, systems and processes Highly adaptable to a constantly changing business and technology environment Strategic thinker with big picture perspective and a broad understanding of information security, risk management, and their direct applications to business process Excellent leadership skills with the ability to leverage cross-functional teams to meet defined objectives. Preferred Qualifications: Masters Degree Knowledge of financial services industry and all applicable regulations and industry standards.
