SQL Proficiency: Strong experience in writing complex SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation. Data Warehousing: Experience with data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and integrating data from multiple sources. Scope of Services Strategic Vision: Devise and execute a strategic vision for Power BI, aligning it with organizational goals to foster a culture of data-driven decision-making. Implementation Leadership: Lead the end-to-end implementation of Power BI solutions, including data acquisition, transformation, and the creation of dynamic dashboards. Data Modeling: Architect scalable and efficient data models in Power BI, utilizing DAX for sophisticated calculations and aggregations. Dashboard Creation: Develop visually compelling dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights, employing advanced DAX for analytics and calculations. DAX Optimization: Design and optimize DAX expressions for calculated columns, measures, and tables, ensuring efficient and accurate data modeling. Code Reviews: Conduct regular code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices in Power BI development. Performance Optimization: Optimize Power BI performance through fine-tuning of DAX queries, data models, and report designs. Implement caching strategies and other techniques to enhance user experience. Data Governance: Implement and enforce data governance policies specific to Power BI solutions. Collaboration: Collaborate with data stewards to ensure data quality, compliance, and secure handling of sensitive information. Access Control: Establish role-based access controls within Power BI to manage user permissions effectively. Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned.
