Team player Solid communication skills Job Description We are seeking an experienced IBM I / LANSA Developer to join our IT team. This role involves the design, creation, modification /configuration, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and documentation of custom internal systems. This is a salaried position with full benefits and a mixture of required time in office and flexible remote hours available. Requirements 5+ years development experience with LANSA tools including; iSeries, Web, Visual LANSA, Composer and Integrator LANSA EDI processing and mapping experience, able to utilize LANSA COMPOSER and Altova MAPFORCE products a plus. Proficient with IBM i DB2 database. Development experience with RPG, CL, HTML, XML & JAVA. Working knowledge and Communication Protocols such as: FTP, FTPS, SFTP, HTTP, HTTPS, AS2 Experience with Microsoft office products. Strong SQL skills including embedded SQL, and must be comfortable with creating and working with advanced SQL statements. Knowledge of enterprise system functions (e.g. Distribution, Inventory, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Order Entry/Invoicing, PO Entry/Stock Receiving, General Ledger) Usually requires a computer science degree. However, equivalent relevant experience may be substituted. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under deadlines.
