Senior Business/Data Analyst

Hybrid/Midtown New York City 3 days a week

Must be local to NY/NY within 30-40 miles from Midtown NYC with DL (No exceptions)

Need senior candidate (rate can be flex but not more then 10 dollars)

Project Overview

A senior Business/Data analyst with experience in large scale, Enterprise-wide data integration projects. There is manufacturing and eCommerce/Retail aspects of this project so either or both are required. Client is working with Smartsheet to implement their software for this data org. We are looking for a business analyst to serve as a liaison in this process. To be able to help with documentation/requirement gathering. Ideally someone who has worked in the retail/manufacturing industry or space around data as a BA. ****EXPERINCE WITH SMARSHEET INTEGRATION IS A BIG PLUS

Job Description:

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing data integration solutions that enhance the synergy between our manufacturing and ecommerce systems. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and business stakeholders, to ensure seamless data flow and optimize business processes. Your role will involve gathering and documenting requirements, analyzing data, and providing insights that drive strategic decisions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of manufacturing or ecommerce environments, combined with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and translate them into detailed functional and technical requirements for data integration projects.
Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets from manufacturing and ecommerce systems to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement. Provide data-driven insights to support business decisions.
Process Optimization: Work closely with IT and operations teams to streamline processes by integrating data across manufacturing and ecommerce platforms. Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements.
Solution Design: Design and document data integration solutions, including data mapping, workflows, and system interfaces, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical feasibility.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as the primary point of contact between business units and technical teams. Facilitate communication to ensure alignment on project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
Project Management: Lead and manage multiple data integration projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
Testing and Validation: Coordinate and conduct testing of data integration solutions to ensure accuracy, reliability, and performance. Validate that the solutions meet business requirements and are ready for deployment.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, technical specifications, process flows, and user guides.
Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users and stakeholders to ensure successful adoption and use of data integration solutions.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to manufacturing, ecommerce, and data integration. Proactively suggest improvements to existing processes and systems.

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably with a focus on data integration within manufacturing or ecommerce environments.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, ecommerce platforms, and data integration technologies.
Proficient in data analysis tools and techniques, with experience in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools.
Experience with ERP systems, such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics, and their integration with ecommerce platforms.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong project management skills, with experience leading data integration projects from inception to completion.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus.
