Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Certifications (Optional): Relevant certifications in search technologies or data management are advantageous. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cloud-based deployments and scaling solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). Knowledge of log management and analytics tools. Key Responsibilities: Deployment & Configuration: Lead the setup, configuration, and deployment of Quickwit clusters, ensuring alignment with business needs and technical requirements. Optimization: Optimize Quickwit performance, including query execution, indexing, and resource management, to handle large-scale data efficiently. Integration: Integrate Quickwit with other data sources and systems, including logging frameworks, data lakes, and analytics platforms. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to Quickwit, such as performance bottlenecks, indexing problems, and data inconsistencies. Best Practices: Develop and enforce best practices for Quickwit usage, including data schema design, search optimization techniques, and system maintenance. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for Quickwit configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures. Training & Support: Provide training and support to internal teams on Quickwit features, best practices, and troubleshooting techniques.
