Job Description: Baer is looking for a Junior Data Engineer for a 12+ month remote project. Job Description:- Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines and architectures. Write, optimize, and manage SQL queries to retrieve, analyze, and transform data from relational databases. Create and maintain data visualizations using tools like BOBJ, Tableau, or Power BI. Collaborate with stakeholders to design dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights. Work with data warehousing technologies such as Informatica, Snowflake, or Databricks to build and maintain robust data storage solutions. Support data integration and ETL processes to ensure data is accurately loaded and stored. Assist in developing data science models and pipelines using platforms like Databricks or Dataiku. Collaborate with data scientists to implement machine learning models and perform data analysis. Requirements 1-2 years of professional experience in a data engineering role, which could include internship experience. Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational database systems. Demonstrated experience with data visualization tools such as BOBJ, Tableau, or Power BI. Experience with data warehousing technologies, including Informatica, Snowflake, or Databricks. Experience with data science platforms like Databricks or Dataiku is desirable. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
