| Hi ContractRole: Infrastructure Automation Engineer Exp 11 Location : Chicago, IL (Remote) Rate: 50 Certifications Needed: Good to have - AWS Certified DevOps Engineer / Certified Kubernetes Administrator Must have: Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Ruby, or PowerShell. Strong experience with RedHat Linux and/or Windows Servers (strongly favor Red Hat Enterprise Linux over Windows experience). Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible. Knowledge of configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or SaltStack. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI. Understanding of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. 3+ years of experience in infrastructure automation or related roles. Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator) are a plus. Nice to have skills: Knowledge of Web Server and Web Application server Unix programming experience specifically shell scripting in Linux environment. Ability to use tools such as awk, sed, grep and other Unix utilities.
