Role: Sr. SSIS Consultant Location: Schenectady, New York Duration: 30 Months Job ID: SLG - 19 - 9779 Client: NY State Respond by Date: 08/29/24 5:00 PM Description This position is with the ITS CTO Business Solutions HHS team and will be responsible for the design and development of a large multi-level system that will ETL (extract, transform and load) from an external OLAP database to an internal system Duties Use Microsoft Visual Studio to create and maintain SSIS packages and projects. Extract data from various sources, such as databases, spreadsheets, flat files, or APIs. Create and maintain database stored procedures and functions. Contribute to the design of a data warehouse architecture that supports data storage, retrieval, and analysis. Optimize query performance by creating indexes. Diagnose and troubleshoot various rules, calculations, and data issues on application reports using Crystal Reports. Report status of current tasks and outstanding issues to supervisor. Mandatory Requirements Experience (10+Years) Creates computer software.
