Location: Onsite at Springfield, OH (Hybrid) Experience: 13+ years Position Type: Long term contract Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Developer or Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing solutions using C#, ASP.NET, MVC.NET, and Entity Framework. This role requires hands-on experience in container-based development, specifically with Docker, and experience in continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Azure DevOps. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain applications using C#, ASP.NET, and MVC.NET frameworks. Implement and optimize data access using Entity Framework and SQL queries. Hands-on experience in developing and managing containerized applications using Docker. Create and manage CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps to ensure seamless deployment processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features within an Agile environment. Provide architectural guidance and direction for projects involving cloud services, particularly in Azure. Work with Azure ARM Templates or Terraform for infrastructure deployment and management. Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality code and ensure best practices are followed. Preferred Qualifications: Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration. Worked with Azure Function-Apps is a plus. Proficiency with Azure Synapse Analytics. Familiarity with Helm for Kubernetes package management. Experience with Python for scripting and automation tasks. Strong knowledge of SQL and experience in writing optimized SQL queries. Experience working in Agile development methodologies and participating in Scrum or Kanban teams. Additional Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to mentor junior developers and contribute to a collaborative team environment. Nice to Have: Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD best practices. Knowledge of Azure ARM Templates for infrastructure as code. Hands-on experience with Azure Synapse and data analytics. Education and Experience: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 7+ years of hands-on experience in software development, with a strong focus on the .NET ecosystem. Proven hands-on experience in container-based development and CI/CD pipelines.
