| From: bhavani, Brillius [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Role: Cyber Security Analyst,H1B Preferred, PP Num Must Location: Remote Job Description: Cybersecurity Analyst : Vulnerability validation, Remediation planning, technical security analysis & remediation of vulnerabilities in source code Experience Required: Experience validating vulnerabilities presented by automated security tooling, writing remediation plans for engineering teams to consume and reporting or presenting security vulnerabilities and related data analysis. Initiatives: Application Security, Cloud Security, Remediation Support Primary Responsibilities: Validate findings curated from our application security toolset. Once validated, write a clear and concise technical remediation plan articulating the issue and expected outcomes. Partner with engineering teams and communicate technical security vulnerabilities to them in a way that helps them most efficiently reduce risk. What does Success look like: Partner with engineering team to remediate existing vulnerabilities via zoom and gChat (verbal & written communication with SMEs) Strong engagement with and in support of our team 9-5 m-f, core hours required, off hours work by exception only Provide stakeholders with updates on Risks and ways to mitigate them efficiently Partner with a team to automate report templates Create, populate, distribute and analyze vulnerability reports Write clear and concise remediation plans for technical vulnerability remediation Write documentation to educate engineers on common best practices, standard operating procedures, and organizational requirements Day-to-day (primary responsibilities as tasks) Monitor and support users in App Sec Team Support Channel Example: Respond to questions about the validity of a security finding recently communicated to an engineering team. Work Jira tickets in order of priority Tasks related to objectives listed above Example: Respond to questions about the validity of a security finding recently communicated to an engineering team. Attend zoom meetings on video 9-5 central m-f as needed Example: Meet application engineering team to review security vulnerability findings and discuss potential remediation options that might fit their circumstance.
