Azure Data Architect Visa: USC,GC Location: Hybrid- Tuesday- Thursday Job Description: A Fortune 50 client is looking for a Data Architect/Engineer to come join their team as this client as a new team is being stood up within this clients Data and Analytics organization. This team is responsible for building out enterprise data modeling frameworks, data automation foundations, tools, and new technology exploration. This team is looking for someone who can 75% data engineering and 20% data architecture specifically within the Azure Data environment Azure Databricks, Data Lake, ADF, Synapse, etc. As the Data Architect/Engineer you will be responsible for addressing and fixing bugs in code, performance reviews, code reviews, helping set up data model optimization, data governance, looking at ways for innovation around data ingestion, EDF management, and STTM oversight. This is a hands-on role. This position requires someone to be local to the Dallas/Fort Worth area and come onsite at least three days a week to this client's campus in Plano, TX (Tuesday-Thursday). Required Skills and Experience * -3+ years within Data Architecture (expertise as a Data or Technical Architect) -8+ years of Data Engineering experience -Expertise within data lakes and ML models -Experience with Azure design and development experience, including but not limited to: ADF, Databricks, Synapse -Expertise working with Metadata/MDM -Experience working with business leaders at various levels -Ability to mentor junior data engineers and onshore/offshore team members -Ability to define and design best practices and frameworks for data engineering -Experience with back-end data design with respect in context of API environment where APIs will be used to query live data on a mobile application (this team owns the backend and the serving of content up, but not the mobile app itself) -Strong technical knowledge in how Databricks connects to ADF -Ability to write SQL queries and complex SQL joins -Excellent written and oral communication (provide verbal and written status reports) -Experience pulling data from various databases: (most data are within Azure Data Lake, Hadoop, Teradata, Vertica, Oracle) Thanks and Regards: Business Development Manager Kartik Chaudhary T: 13022047496 | E: [email protected] Source Infotechs LLC 806,Wilmington, DE, New Castle, US, 19801. -- Keywords: machine learning information technology green card Delaware Texas Azure Data Architect [email protected] |
