The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. This role requires strong ABAP development skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capability to work effectively in an onsite environment.Key Responsibilities: ABAP Development: Design, develop, and maintain SAP ABAP programs to meet business needs. Collaboration: Work closely with SAP functional consultants to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions. Debugging and Troubleshooting: Identify, diagnose, and resolve issues in existing ABAP programs. Performance Tuning: Optimize programs for enhanced performance and resource efficiency. Technical Documentation: Prepare comprehensive documentation for all development work. Support: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SAP systems, addressing bugs and implementing enhancements. Custom Reports: Develop custom reports, interfaces, and forms using ABAP/4, ALV, Smart Forms, and other SAP tools. Enhancements and Exits: Implement enhancements using BADI, User Exits, and the Enhancement Framework. Data Migration: Execute data migration tasks using LSMW, BDC, and other tools. Compliance: Ensure all developments adhere to SAP standards and best practices.Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: 3+ years of SAP ABAP development experience. Experience with SAP ECC 6.0 and/or S/4HANA is preferred. Familiarity with Fiori and SAP UI5 is advantageous. Technical Skills: Strong expertise in SAP ABAP, including reports, ALV, Smart Forms, SAP Scripts, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, and enhancements. Proficient in Data Dictionary, RFC, BDC, LSMW, and IDocs. Knowledge of Object-Oriented ABAP. Understanding of SAP modules like MM, SD, FI, and HR is beneficial. Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well in a team-oriented, onsite environment. Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.Certifications: SAP Certified Development Associate - ABAP with SAP NetWeaver is a plus.Additional Requirements: Must be able to work onsite in Austin, TX.
