Need strong candidates with GCP Certification Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Certified Data Engineer with expertise in BigQuery. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in designing, building, and managing data processing systems on GCP. You will be responsible for developing scalable and efficient data pipelines, optimizing BigQuery environments, and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven insights. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop data architectures, pipelines, and ETL processes on Google Cloud Platform. Build and optimize scalable data models in BigQuery for analytics and reporting. Implement data ingestion and transformation processes using BigQuery, Dataflow, Apache Beam, and other GCP tools. Collaborate with data analysts, scientists, and other stakeholders to define data requirements and deliver actionable insights. Ensure data quality and consistency across multiple data sources. Monitor and manage BigQuery costs while ensuring optimal query performance. Automate and orchestrate data pipelines using GCP tools like Cloud Composer (Airflow). Participate in code reviews and enforce best practices for data engineering. Implement security best practices for data storage and access within GCP. Maintain and enhance existing data solutions and develop new features as needed. Required Skills and Qualifications: Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer Certification. Proven experience with Google BigQuery, including data modeling, partitioning, and performance tuning. Strong proficiency in SQL, especially in writing complex queries and optimizing them for large datasets. Experience with ETL/ELT processes using tools like Dataflow, Cloud Functions, or Apache Beam. Solid understanding of cloud-native data processing tools and GCP services (e.g., Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer). Hands-on experience with version control (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines for data engineering workflows. Familiarity with Python or Java for scripting and automation. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with data governance, data cataloging, and managing metadata. Knowledge of machine learning workflows and integrating them with data pipelines. Experience in data visualization using tools like Looker or Data Studio. Familiarity with DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or similar tools.
