Role: GCP Cloud/ DevOps Engineer Location: Alpharetta, GA (Only Locals or Nearby) Duration: Contract Experience: Minimum 10+ years Mandatory: GCP certification Note: Only H1 Visa who can share PP (Dont share GC, GC EAD, H4, OPT/CPT) Role Description: Responsibilities: Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure on GCP. Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to architect cloud solutions that meet project requirements. Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using GCP tools and services. Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, security, and cost-effectiveness. Automate routine tasks and processes to improve operational efficiency. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and services. Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards. Document infrastructure designs, configurations, and procedures. Stay updated on the latest GCP features, tools, and industry trends. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer with a focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Strong understanding of cloud architecture, networking, and security best practices. Experience with GCP services such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, and IAM. Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools. Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment. GCP certification (e.g., Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect) is a plus. Excellent communication skills and ability to document technical processes.
