UID: 7a036c4360e743408bc75dae88e813db From: Charan, Anevta charan@anveta.com Reply to: charan@anveta.com Role: Data Analyst Location: 1118 South State Road 25, Logansport, IN 46947-- (Remote) Note: Looking for locals only Duration: 6+ Months Its a junior level position and we do have less bill rate Job Description: JOB DUTIES Serves as project lead/subject matter expert for specific data sources, as assigned Reviews and provides feedback on the work products of other analysts Responsible for transferring raw data to the appropriate location for use in data analysis projects Wrangles, cleans, and validates agency data sources with minimal guidance Conducts general analysis of agency datasets; serves as project lead, as assigned. Contributes to complex analysis of agency datasets, as requested Conducts data quality checks to ensure the validity and cleanliness of agency datasets prior to their use in analysis and reporting Oversee and review projects completed by associate analysts, as requested by senior analyst Interprets data and from multiple sources using a variety of analytical techniques, ranging from simple data aggregation, to data mining, to more complex statistical methodologies Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop novel ways of using and reporting out data. Provide technical assistance to program areas for the creation of reports and grant deliverables REQUIREMENTS Demonstrated experience with data manipulation, including cleansing, standardizing, and transforming preferred. Demonstrated experience with SAS or R, including data cleaning, running descriptive statistics, and full analyses. Working knowledge of epidemiological methods, study design, and analysis needed with an understanding of both qualitative and quantitative data. Working knowledge of MS Office Suite including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Effective time management and program management skills. Ability to work in a team environment with multiple and fluid demands. Ability to maintain effective and professional working relationships with internal and external customers. Ability to research and document findings.
